Our standard fee for processing your self containment documentation is $48.00 from the 1st April 2024.
A discounted fee applies for members of the NZ's national camping club All Points Camping Club of NZ and fleet operators. The self containment testing officer will usually charge for their time.

What is Certified Self Containment?
A certified self contained vehicle is designed to completely meet the ablutionary and sanitary needs of the occupants (including water for drinking and cooking) for a minimum of three days without requiring any external services or discharging any waste.

A self containment checklist must be signed off by a qualified self containment testing officer, registered plumber, gasfitter or drainlayer. Testing officer charges may apply.
Once your vehicle has been certified a copy of the checksheet should be emailed to csc@nzlifestylecamping.com for final checking and issue. Please allow 5 working days for delivery of your final documentation
